Born July 31, 1889, in Chicago, IL; died September 4, 1973, Clarkson, MI. Psychologist and teacher. Charles I. Doyle, S.J., was one of five children of James Doyle and Rose Donnelly. He attended St. Jarlath Parish School, then St. Ignatius High School, from which he graduated in 1906. Following three years of work at United States Steel, he entered the Society of Jesus at Florrisaant, MO, in 1910.
